Monster Matcha Pudding Cups
Monster Matcha Pudding Cups
Vanilla Fancy Monkey is a blank canvas, and Oatly Matcha does two jobs at once. It's the liquid that sets the mix, and it turns the pudding Frankenstein green with zero food coloring. The matcha brings a gentle, earthy note that plays nicely against the deep chocolate cookie crumbs.

2 minutesFULL TIME
About 25-30 minutesINGREDIENTS
1 pouch Vanilla Fancy Monkey (about 4 oz)
2¼ cups (18 fl oz) Oatly Matcha, cold
½ tsp matcha powder (optional, for a greener monster)
3 oz dark chocolate, chopped
6 oz crispy chocolate cookies
4 clear 8 to 9 oz cups
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Melt the chocolate gently in the microwave, put it in a disposible piping bag and cut the tip off, just a bit.
2. Tip each cup on its side and pipe a face on the inside wall: a jagged hairline across the top, two eyes, a straight mouth and stitched mouth. Chill the cups for 10 minutes to set.
3. Pour the Vanilla Fancy monkey into a bowl and whisk in 2 1/4 cups Oatly Matcha.
4. Gently spoon the green pudding in behind the face, using the back of the spoon so you don't smudge the chocolate, smooth it out.
5. Pile cookie crumbs on top for Frankenstein's flat-top hair. Chill until ready to serve.
TIPS
Keep the face symmetrical. Anything piped on the inside reads mirrored from the outside, so skip lettering.
Fill close to serving. The faces look sharpest right away. Overnight, condensation can blur the cup.
Taste for sweetness. Oatly Matcha is already sweetened. If it's too sweet, swap some for plain oat milk.
